Certain voices in the nursing community are trying to make the argument that there is no nursing shortage and we need to keep protectionist policies in place. IV Members,
My PERM Labor application was certified on Jan 24th 2011. Attorney received an email that the case has been certified and will send the approval notice shortly.
Its been close to 4 weeks and have not received the hard copy. can someone share their experiences about the time line to receive hard copy.

I am on H1B 8th year extension, my priority date is September,2004. When I join new employer, Will I lose my current priority date as well as LC?
Depends on whether or not your I-140 is approved. If it is, and your old employer does not withdraw the petition then there is a possibility of carrying on with your old PD. I am no expert on this, but the issue has been discussed several times on this forum. Do a search for more info.
